One was king of England and the other man was french. In the end the Frenchman came out on top as the king of France. The english did not like this at all and in a few years he ended up invading France. This long war between England and france was named the Hundred Year’s war. A the beginning of the war English armies were winning the battles. After of hundred years of fighting until a teenage peasant girl Joan of Arc rallied the French army. Two of the major events that I wrote about were in a lot of ways “dark” like the black death that whipped over Europe and the Crusades which in the end did not help for the crusaders. The other two events Hundred Year War and the Magna Carta were pretty big advancements that we sometimes over look and think of the digression of the middle ages. We need to think about what good came out of the middle ages not just the bad things. Again, where the dark ages really dark?
